Thanksgiving Soon!

For this holiday, its practically my favorite. I really enjoy Thanksgiving because for me, its a combination of all my favorite food. But this year before Thanksgiving, I want to explore what other Cultures do on this very special holiday so this is a fun topic to research and talk about. Not every culture has the same foods or the same way of celebrating. I think Thanksgiving is really fun and enjoyable but its really hard to wait before you eat because then you get really hungry. I've learned about this holiday all my life. But the one thing that sometimes bothers me is when it's November and commercials, adds and street signs all talk about Christmas. Have people forgotten this important holiday? I would think not becuase Christmas is almost here and thats a holiday everyone loves the most. To those reading this blog, I wish you a happy Thanksgiving! Be thankful for the family and friends around you.

"The Help" By Kathryn Stockett

I have just finished a great and awesome book called "The Help". The characters are very detailed and described. This book offers a point of view of the maids from Jackson Mississippi how life is working for the white people which was very hard for them. Like Aibileen, (Main character) is very understanding and know taking care of her 17th white child. Minny AKA Aibileens best friend, stands up for her rights even though she has an attitude on her mouth. Miss Skeeter is a wrier, one of the most nicest characters in the book and lives with her ill mother. The character I absolutely don't like is mean Miss Hilly. She is very racist and always mean to the maids, especially Aibileen which just discusses me because she s just a horrible person but arleast a good mother to her children. Miss Leefolt who doesn't even care about her own children and mean to her daughter Mae Moebly. I would highly suggest this book to anyone because it will make you want to read it over and over again. The movie that was released over the summer was fantastic! All my thanks to Kathryn Stockett for making a phenomenal book and showing a true side.

Puppies!

I think the most wonderful thing a person could actually have in this world is a best friend you can count on. What about a reliable pet? I think dogs are the most loyal pets you can have in the world. And of coarse they never make you feel bad about yourself because their always right there when you need them. I have a dog myself his name is so cute! It's a great name so when I got him, his name was Little Charlie. (Cocker Spaniel) He is absolutely adorable!  Dogs have a good sense of what people are feeling because they know whats wrong. I think enjoying the love and attention your dog gives you everyday, you will get even more love from them. They are full of so much energy that will last a life time, just running around enjoying the new wonders of their own surroundings. They listen to you so ALWAYS make sure to listen to them to. They need you as much as you need them. They are the ones who really want to have attention which is the love you can give to them.
